Every day I get the rate update from Brandy LeGault at Benchmark Home Loans (thank you Brandy!). I have noticed a increase over the last couple of weeks. Here is one of the most recent emails:

The end of the month is coming, and thus the first time homebuyer tax credit expiring and the move up buyer tax credit expiring. Rates are going up and we are also told that USDA is running out of money to lend. Home prices are lower than they have been in years and there is a large inventory of homes to choose from. Is the opportunity to buy a great investment almost over?

A few years ago when I first got my real estate license (2004), the market was booming. Home sales were sky rocketing up and homes were selling in a matter of hours. I remember meeting with sellers and pricing out their home before they listed. Most were pleasantly surprised at how much money they could get. But for some it got their wheels turning. "What if we wait longer? Maybe we'll get more!"

There were a few people that waited too long and missed the opportunity to sell in a fantastic market. So now I pose the question to you, will you wish you had bought now instead of "waiting to see what the market does?"

It is an excellent market to buy. However, it is still imparative to have a seasoned Realtor representing you whether it be a bank owned, short sale or traditional property purchase. Call me today and lets see if now is your opportunity to buy. It can't hurt to see.
